RESCUELANDER
A battered rescue lander descends toward the Moon while three stranded astronauts wave red flares on a ridge, Earth rising behind them.

Nobody gets left
on the Moon.

Three crews are stranded across the Mare. You have one patched-up lander, half a tank, and a radio that only works when you hit it. Set down soft. Bring them home.

Dispatch · Priority one

Survey Team Halcyon went quiet at 0300. Their rover is buried to the axles in the Mare Nubium regolith. Life support is good for nine hours, maybe ten if Kowalski stops talking.

The station lander has one working engine, a cracked canopy and a reputation. Gravity is light here, but the ground still comes up fast. Above 0.9 meters per second, the landing legs fold like lawn chairs.

Three astronauts in orange suits wait beside a crashed rover; one holds up a blank square of cardboard, one flashes a mirror; a thermos and playing cards rest on a rock.

Every crew has a story

In the full game, every survivor you pull off the surface has a name, a grudge and a reason they were out there. Rescue enough of them and the station grows: new hangars, a better engine, a pilot who stops calling you "rookie."

A lonely domed hangar on the Moon with an amber beacon, a ringed landing pad and footprints leading into the dark, Earth low on the horizon.
